Is A Vegan Diet Healthy?

I eat a mostly vegan diet. I have been adding in some Wild Salmon each week (when I can) for the Omega 3’s. If I have no other choice, I will eat meat. Sometimes I add milk/dairy back in, but I have decided to stay dairy free.

 

I have been mostly vegetarian for a long time. I have done some things wrong & some right…. and I studied to learn healthier ways of eating to be healthier & live longer.

 

Why eat a mostly vegan diet?

Dr. Oz says a vegan diet can significantly reduce the risk of diabetes and heart disease.

 

Loma Linda University has studied vegetarian diets and has found vegetarians have healthier, longer lives.
